me and a friend went out saturday morning started trolling from irving to devon. tryed to go past the dam but once again the current was too much and tossed us right over. we then trolled all the way down to 1st ave and seen there was a dam there too.got scaird, turned around stoped at jean and jutes for a hot dog and called it a day
it was fun but no fish

you got no excuse to troll only and have no registration. We saw your toys and the twekd liscense plate I may get into boating soon but youd have better luck with a boober and worm than trolling that part of dpr.

hell ya the boat fits down the rosemont channel, it does get a bit rocky though.

I think that dude was joking about the worms. But seriously, if you want to catch a pike out of there you are going to have to do some casting sooner or later. I admire your dedication to catching one while trolling, but its a long shot. Once you catch one casting, you will never troll again. We should get the whole wcf armada out there one day!

im not one for casting, i would give up on my like 3rd cast (i have a short attention span)

i used to fish with stink bait on the chain with great sucess, do you think i could get a catfish or carp with stink bait on the river?

im not sure about the cats and carp but for pike yu want to be at least a few miles north of desplains.
