Even though I failed to land the (estimated) 4-5 pounder at the Deep tourney, the hawg tore up my brand new buzzbait pretty good. So I contacted the company and asked them if there was any way to "tune" it (like you do with a crankbait if it dosen't track correctly). They said to send it back and they would replace it.

The fishing gods taketh and the fishing gods givith away.

Chalk up one for the Fat Kid.

Great post, Al.

Just goes to show that the tackle companies WANT us to catch as many fish with their baits as possible. Means more fish for us and more $$$ for them. That's cool with me!

Thats what I caught my only keeper from the tournament on. Some of them are a little more pricey, but the designs are so much better then baits sold at the major outlets. They plane faster, run slower, and have better hook up percentages.
