just buy a 3$ terminator spinner bait. Booyah HDs are good. They are expensive. Ive had the same problem with the hook.

You could always try trailer hooks :idea:
Then you have the solid hook first and a flexible hook off the end. Heck, if there wernt many snags around, I would even conside a treble for a trailer.
