Had less of a break today but it worked. 1 hour, 1 lure, 1 bridge = 2 fish. Caught a small pike after 3 hits, fun and didnt want to dirty my hands.....let him shake off. Went to other side. Bowfin on and it was a fighter. Deicided hands would get dirty. Also took a close up of its mouth. More fangs than i ever noticed. Shouldnt really handle them i guess.

If I had to guess what two fish you would catch in a hour's time, I wouldn't of guessed a bowfin and a pike. I'm sure it was a pleasant surprise.

Nice! Very difficult fish to hold on to. Did he wreck your Mepps?

Nice! I've never caught one but I've heard the stories of how crazy they are. Saw my first one this spring cruising a harbor downtown.

Bent two hooks out and 1 in. Musta been on the hit and pull. Got it back in easy. Fuckin eyes were following me as I removed the hooks it seemed.
