well, now that fall is here and deer season starting, I don't wanna put they bow back up until next summer. does anyone know where to at least (semi) legally bowfish, the DNR website helped me find a couple of spots 2 years ago down by kankakee (Rock Creek I think it was?) I would like to find something a lil closer to chicago or something that can produce some Bad Ass carp, Gar or bowfin? I know your also allowed to bowfish the illinois river down by starved rock and mattesion, does that apply to those goofy asain carp? all the e-mails i got from IDNR state "No Live Possesion" and don't mention anything about them being a Bow&Arrow Game Fish. I got 3 weeks left to try 4 some fish before i start chasing deer, any ideas? or tips for springtime?
