I checked it today and its open. I couldnt get a bite but the bass were active and jumping today.

Water temp I'm gonna guess and say mid 40's maybe, I'll have a temp probe out there on Saturday and let you guys know what it says. Boat rental has been open for at least a week now maybe two. I was out today as well, those aren't bass jumping, they're carp. Bass aren't very active yet, caught only one so far, spotted only a few more.

almost every body of water is filled with carp... go catch em!

Well it was a green carp with a white belly, and he smacked his tail hard on the water. I saw him or them doing it repeatedly. I did also see a carp jump salmon style.

Busse is full of carp but they are mostly on shallow muddy flats where I dont bass fish anyways

how much is it to rent a boat?

busse is very expensive. I believe with a trolling motor which doesnt last longer than an hour, it was close to 55 dollars. I could be wrong. im sure some of these fine fisherman on here would have a better answer. The guys who rent the boats are a little rough around the edges.

I was thinkin about getting a yackk or buying a cheap motor... Online the boat rental for the lagoons says that it's about 15 an hour, and they stop charging after 4 hours...
