:) Fished the warm water discharge at Busse for several hours today with my son and brother-in-law. We caught two small bass and a bunch of crappies and bluegills. It was being fished pretty heavily, but was fun none the less. I noticed that there were a number of ice fishermen above the dam, so the ice must still be okay.

It was my first time there and I was surprised at the number of fish by the discharge grate. Mostly small ones though.

Welcome to the site Toothdoc! Try using large fatheads. It will deter the small fish and land you some bass. Also 4lb line and small hook works well for me. And your right, there are thousands of fish there. Also try about 10 meters down from the grate. I've found the bass to bite better there. Too much panfish by the grate and the bass that hang out there are way too finicky.
