Busy Saturday
Started the day at Deep Quarry in West Chicago. Got skunked. We fished basically the entire shoreline looking for anything. Had a few bluegill trying to eat a worm as big as them from one of the shores, but nothing hit the rest of the morning. Was there from 6:30 until 10. Anyone have suggestions for where to fish out there?
On the way back, I hit a local pond in the Elk Grove and caught a handful of small bluegill, bass and one keeper sized channel catfish of about 18 inches. I got a pic if I can figure out how to upload.
Caught them on crawlers. All catch and release.
