I did try it a few years back in the 6lb test. I really didn't like it. I just feel that there are a lot of better lines out there that perform better. Everything that I am reading about the red line shows that it really doesn't make a huge difference. If you want something that is the least visible, go with fluorocarbon.

i tried it (and still have it) on my crankbait set up, 14lb. test. Casted well and i caught about 6 fish in the one day i used it. i caught them from depth ranging 3ft to about 25ft on Deep Lake up in lake villa. That water is extremely clear and for me was the ultimate test to see if that line actually worked. I cant tell you if the line actually does disappear or not but i can tell you that it doesn't hurt.

i have it setup on a couple of my UL rigs and one finesse rig and i have no problems with it. I'm a PLine or Vanish guy normally... and prefer fluro/braid most the time, but I have no problems with the cajun red. Definately not a bad line, and I do seem to hook into a few more fish than with your normal colors... IDK. Like I said, I've had no problems with it.

I use 6 & 8 on spinning gear, though very clear water I use green..
I'll say its very tough stuff, great for sustained casting with knicks.

I've used it on a baitcaster-not fully convinced with the heavier weight line.

I've only tried the Cajin Red not any other red brands.
Gotta watch that, many are just variations on color and not changes to line quality or characteristics.

Seems live everyone has some type of red line now..

Just watch the quality of what you test.
:D .
