Now today was outing i enjoyed. I havent had one like this in a while. Me n my girlfriend went down to Roscoe and Californa and fished the Devry side. Today was an active day for the carp and catfish. I missed several catfish and 2 carp i had on i lost. I ended up catching one carp and one catfish. The carp fought for about 5 minutes and the catfish was a alright battle. The carp was stronger then i thought it was going to be. I love the fight the carp put up but it felt grimey. I love carp fishing and will be doing a lot more in the future. Yes the red gloves are back until someone shows me how to hold a catfish the right way. Awesome outting!!!

Nice catch but what's with the gloves? the catfish looks like a science experiment. J/K. hahahaha. My friend's daughter kicked my but at the skokie lagoons with an ugly stick combo a lot like yours. She caught like 30 nice crappie in the matter of 1 hour. We were using the mini mite with a bobber. Lauren got 30 and I got 5. I got beat with an ugly stick. She is going to be a Bassmaster champ some day.mplant1 said:

When they get big enough, you can take the palm of your hand and try stabbing yourself with there fin/stingers. It will not stab ya! :lol: But when you do get stung. It is just the slime that gives it a little painful sensation.JB said:
