What did you catch it on?

 

Exactly what I was wondering. Reminds me - years ago I was bank fishing the north pool at Busse. Hooked into something I first thought was a nice fish. Turned out to be a Berkley Cherrywood pistol grip casting rod with a crappy spinning reel on it - a really great setup.

The reel was toast but I used the rod with a Daiwa spincaster on it for years.

 

2 years ago while dragging baits for catfish I snagged a Catfish Fever rod and reel combo worth close to $200. It was in perfect condition. I could have baited it up and started using it right away. Used it today actually.
