I was out of the country for the past few weeks and just got back last weekend. Did some fishing at the Foster dam on Monday and Tuesday. Caught several LM bass on Monday, including a really fat 12" one that weighed 1 lb 5 oz. Didn't do quite as well yesterday, but managed a few small bass and the usual gills.
While fishing yesterday, I noticed there were tons of carp gathered near the waterfall trying to swim upstream. Several of them jumped 1-2 feet high completely out of the air, but I didn't see any of them actually make it over the dam. I know salmon do this to spawn, but had no idea carp do as well.
