Um...Hello? Sharks.

Ok Roberto. Heres the straight deal. Real simple. You want to get a spinning reel, a medium action rod, and a few small jigs. Use 4-6# line. Go down there and use minnows or crawlers, or try some small plastics if you want. Try jigging over the edge, or try casting out and using a bobber. Live bait would most likely get you some action more easily. You will catch fish no problem. Dont over think it!

After that start watching whats working for others that day and you will get the hang of it.

roberto - if you want to catch salmon (i'm not sure what you are specifically targetting), 4# line just ain't gonna get it. I wouldn't even use straight 4-6# line (mono, flouro) in lake michigan for ANY species due to the overpopulation of zebra mussels in lake michigan. they will fray the hell out of your line.

let us know what you want to catch and we can try to help out with more specifics
