Bookend extremes to this month. Really high water to start, miserably low water to end. But temps have been stable and the fish stay hungry when that's the case. I've been wandering about a 250 yards stretch of river stopping to fish holes and adjacent water. The fish have been pretty aggressive actually, willingly coming up in the water column to tackle a lure. A mixed bag all month. This wraps up my second best fishing month ever, not a huge surprise given the extended time off for my fishcation. But my catch rates were quite good with around 4.5 fish landed per hour. Had a couple bite/break offs and a few lost fish to bent out hooks as well.
