Got a late start. Hit a small east branch stretch 4pm to 7pm. God I hate how it gets dark so early now. Stuck with small weedless swimbaits presentation. Only one spot produced. Smallie hit first (13" 1.5lb jumper) then large mouth hit a few casts later. Same length and weight. Thought for sure the large mouth was another smallmouth the way it fought just as fun as the smallmouth. Thanks to the member who told me about this stretch. I don't want to fill up his inbox so I won't name him but I had fun attempting to learn this stretch this season. Pics below.

October can be a bit weird on that river. It seems to be a transitional period where fish are moving. You can either get into a bunch or just haul water. But you kept at it and got some goods ones.

I know this stretch of the East Branch, have definitely had some fun there.
