you would think that brighter colors work better late evening/night but they can actually see the darker colored stuff better. i read many online articles about this and i just took their advice. i'm not that smart! :mrgreen:
the senko that i was using was actually black with blue but purple probably would have worked just as well. the trick was to drag the senko across the top of lilly pads and heavy weeds and once it got to the edge just let if fall. whamo!! gotta love fishing when they just slam a lure like that. what a rush.
there was also a report of a 22 incher that was caught earlier that day. gotta get back there soon.
