Slow day at work...

I'd estimate that walleye was caught a bit north and west of the southern submerged island in 30 to 40 feet of water.

What does interest me greatly is what kind of net are they using?

I absolutely hate those nets! They're shallow and the fish seem to "bounce" out of them! I've seen too many things go wrong with them to like em! Granted they are nice for trebles as they don't get caught in the rubber, but beyond that I've never liked them....anyways.....

I've been on a few boats with that style net. They are great for smaller fish because they come out of the net so easily, but not much good for larger fish. Like it was said, they like to bounce out too much.

It was actually my cousin's father-in-law who caught a walleye at Deep Lake a couple of years ago.

Jack says they are in there. Would be interesting to try and have some us target them sometime.
