Due to all the excitement of the tourney I forgot to post my Friday outing to Defiance Lake. It seems every time I go there it's windy. :? It was a slow day, much like Saturday, for me. I ended up with a 14" and a 15" largemouth. Both were caught on Zoom Trick Worms. The wind just made it very hard to fish with the finesse plastics. I haven't done exceptionally well at this lake over 3 outings, but I love how quiet it is and there is no recreational boat traffic to deal with. It's a great place to fish and relax and feel like you can get away from the real world for a few hours. It certainly beats the hell out of coming to work in the Loop everyday. 8)

Thanks for the report Clancy. I like those Zoom Trick Worms. They are one of my favorites as a matter of fact. :wink: If it's windy try using a small jig head with them.
