More of a Pike day than a bucketmouth day, out from 5.05 till 1030 . First 3.5 hours 6Pike and 5 Bass. Last 1.5 hours with hot sun and 15-20 wind got no fish. Lost nice sized smallie when Dirty Larry was thinking of his meds instead of getting the net when i needed it.Most fish on buzzbaits ended with 6 pike and alot of misses and 5 bass , biggest 3 pike went 30,33,and 36. Biggest bass was 20inch and 5.0. Makes a huge difference to be out just before first light than 630 or 7am.........at least for our confidence.
