Did some exploring around Dundee, then headed up to Rt. 60 to get some pike. The water and surrounding area was still stupid high and soaked. Could only hit a couple of locations and found no takers.

The water is still incredibly high. Passed over the DPR on the way home from Old School the other day and it was still raging. Soon enough though the tide will turn and the fish will be ours!!

Fishing the DPR from shore is definitely tougher when the water is high. I just checked the 7 day forecast and it looks like it is going to go higher.

My buddy (Miroplus) and I went out on saturday morning around 6:00AM. Managed to get two bites, and set the hook on one. He was a pretty small pike around 25". Miro will be posting the picute in a few. Around the same area as you were...

The Pike are not very active yet, but they will bite if you have the time to wait.
