Anywyas went on my bike a few days ago and I stumbled around the des plaines river going straight ahead after schiller pond visit. I noticed that theres a bridege and all then theres like a bikeroute. I was wondering if I should wet a line there. I mean the water looks dirty and scary..LOL. But just wondering or should I keep going more to the middle of the FP?

I was there a few times last week, on both sides of Irving Park along the shore, and nothing. I think the current was moving too fast. But I saw a bunch of little baby fish swimming around inches from the shore, so the big ones are somewhere close.

Hell yeah you should try it. Going in by bike is the perfect way to explore those spots on the river.
