Fished the DPR up in Gurnee from 2:30pm-6:45pm. Mostly sunny then clouds late; temps in the low 70's; breezy northwest winds.

Alex hooked in to the first northern pike with a spinnerbait. Small fish, probably 14".

I caught a 21" pike on a Diawa Shad Master and two smaller pike on the Shad Master and on a jig. Also got a decent rock bass, also on a jig.

Not as much action as we had hoped, but some fish nonetheless.

jason is the pike bite now good all over the dpr or just in ur area in gurnee.
You can catch them anywhere right now. I went out to a spot in Park Ridge before going to Beck on Friday and caught a cute little 13"er. It took me two hours of casting to catch one but you can still find them all over the place.
