Hey guys I was wondering how many of you actually use a flasher? Im stuck between getting a cheap 2 man eskimo quickfish2 shanty or a flasher. Any help/tips would be great.
do you really need a flasher?

Get the flasher unit over the shanty. It's not the greatest but you can use a cheaper/lighter weight 2 man hunting blind with ice anchors for a shanty. Flasher units make ice fishing more fun and your time on the water more productive. Check craigslist for used ice fishing equipment you might finds some deals.
