Water temps remain the same from last weekend, so I hit up the DPR backwaters again looking for shallow water largemouth. Had a solid weekend, landing a couple dozen between Saturday and Sunday. Water is still tepid, so dark colors still rule. With the wind, they seemed to need some vibration to help locate the baits, so most were caught on a chatterbait, with a couple on an underspin and one on jig.
All the pics are from Sunday, which was the better of the two days. Nabbed 15 in total, definitely had a 15-lb bag. Most were on wind-blown rocky points, choke points, and transition areas.
