Weather 60's light wind and the water was high and moving fast.

Fished 10:30 to 11:30

Got this guy casting the length of a lay down log. He wacked it 3 feet from shore.

Could not go to up river north so i headed down river but nothing else....

After that I went to the "Pond" NOT A BITE  in 3 hours
but there is open water

OPEN WATER AT THE POND!!! Aw crap, it's supposed to rain all weekend. After seeing that picture I can't focus anymore on work. Thank goodness there's less than two hours left. Oh man, I need to fish in the worst way........which is usually how I fish. :?

Nice pike dude! How big was it? Looks pretty decent.

Nice pike. It seems like the current and wind are keeping em close to shore. They are a blast to catch and they really slam whatever you toss out there. Definitely not the early spring light bass bite :)

I'd start at the Hoffman Dam and work your way downstream.

Nice pikey!
