Weather 60's light wind and the water was high and moving fast.

Fished 10:30 to 11:30

Got this guy casting the length of a lay down log. He wacked it 3 feet from shore.

Could not go to up river north so i headed down river but nothing else....

After that I went to the "Pond" NOT A BITE :evil: in 3 hours
but there is open water

OPEN WATER AT THE POND!!! :shock: Aw crap, it's supposed to rain all weekend. :evil: After seeing that picture I can't focus anymore on work. Thank goodness there's less than two hours left. Oh man, I need to fish in the worst way........which is usually how I fish. :?

Nice pike. It seems like the current and wind are keeping em close to shore. They are a blast to catch and they really slam whatever you toss out there. Definitely not the early spring light bass bite

I'd start at the Hoffman Dam and work your way downstream.
