Yeah I have caught them in the winter, mostly next to the dams.

ah cool lol... like i said it looked like it was just miraculously floating next to your hand LOL. most ive seen hold by the gills or behind the head, it looked goofy, took me a bit to notice it lol

Do you guys get them in the dead of winter as well???????????" ===== Oh YEAH!!! if YOU can bear the cold-wet-stiff hands, and you can find open water.... a spinnerbait will catch them ALL WINTER LONG.... Last year Jason and I caught several while standing in foot deep+ snow!!! (hey, ya GOTTA get outta the house man!! LMAO :lol: )
