Ok plan on goin to the DPR around Hoffman Dam or that big green shaky bridge after my rugby game tommorow . Plan on being there at around noon. Would there be fish under the bridge. Plan on catchin pike and walleye. Im thinkin it would be a good idea to use spinners for pike and maybe minnows for pike and walleye.

I also want to get some carp. Ive never caught one. What do i use for bait. Nightcrawlers or corn. What rig is good for carp. A slip bobber. get back to me asap

Got word from a buddy who fished the area for a few hours this afternoon for a few hours and all he could come up with was a small 16" Pike - drifting minnows.

Personally, I'd fish elsewhere because the river has some good flow right now - probably won't be fun to mess with.

Water temps are still between 35-40degs so I'd fish as slowly as possible.... forget the spinners.

ya just got back and got skunked river to fast to cold. I give up on that damn river

Hey, don't get discouraged dude. I still haven't caught a darn fish out my little backyard river yet - - - - and some people think I'm a "pro" at that.. HAHA :lol: they're wrong.

Wait a month for things to warm up and improve and you will have success. :idea:
