Hey Guys,

J, it's been awhile since I've been on here. Last time I talked to you was probably the last time we fished the main dam ( I was getting the bullhead on the chicken liver). Anyway, I'm looking for a detailed explaination on how to drop shot. I'm taking off to Tennessee and I hear that's all the big rave out there. I also caught an exerpt from OLN fishing at Lake Okachobee in Florida using drop shots. Anything would help, especially tying the line(s)/ hooks. Thanks guys.

Dan,drop shotting is a great technique.I can't tie the required knot so I bought the special drop shot hooks from my bait shop.If they don't have it they can order them for you.You simply tie a regular knot to the hook leaving about 12" to attach a Lindy bouncer sinker. You won't get so snagged with this sinker.Run the 12" of line through the special eye of the hook & it'll stand out.Attach a Senko or other plastic & you're in business.I did well with bass & also got some Walleye. If you are drifting just let it hit bottom & wait for the hit. It's a great rig.Good luck, billyk
