Eagle Lake Report 2/25/06

Fished from 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM. Temps in low 20's with a constant stong wind. Placed 4 tip-ups with quick strike roaches just over the weeks (no results).

We fished our holes over 7 feet of water, 4 of those feet where weeds. Landed a dozen 6-8 inch perch on small fatheads and had a small pike on for a short time as well as had a pole dragged into the water never to be seen again. In the last hour we had 4 different pike hang out under our holes just to say hello.

This will almost surely be the last local ice fishing weekend, so get out there if you wanna drill some holes.
