I was just checking the fall trout stocking info and it appears Sag quarry and Horsetail are not included. Does anyone kno. why?
Either rotation or there are generally less places stocked in the fall vs. the spring. In the past, I believe Dupage and many other counties funded a fall stocking, but Cook did not. I see that's not the case as Cook has a few lakes stocked now in the fall. Mostly lakes on the north end. Probably out of favoritism as the Cubs are better and more iconic than the White Sox.

Good thing the state of Illinois stocks rainbow trout since they are a fun species of fish to target. Caught a bunch of nice trout last October including a beautiful palomino trout (golden rainbow trout). I released all the trout I caught and would consider visiting Illinois or another state to fish for trout again.
