Afetr deciding not to go to Delavan hit the local lake today. Water temps are 12 degrees warmer than last year. Wich seems to have been limiting the fishing this fall so far. That is up untill today , with cloudy skies and a nice west wind i found some fish after a good hour. Large fatheads produced 4 eyes to day with the biggest going 17+ and 3 others in the 14-16 in range. Bass wanted roaches and picked up 15 with biggest 15in, the tummies on most of these fish were nice and fat. Missed 1 really nice pike but did manage a 24 incher . Intersting if you look at Basser fish from Delavan they are both smae size in inches but thickness of a DElavan pike is very noticeable. All fish caught in 4-6 feet on a windblown shoreline. No crwalers were used today. Fishing should only get better as these water temps continue to drop.[
