I pulled the trigger on the Innova Halibut by gumotex . Great reviews and I could not resist the sale from $1200 down to $398 . The SS Pomak is ready for service lol!!

Get her slimed up.

Two words of advice:
1. Wear a PFD at all times.
2. Leash any equipment you don't want to lose overboard.

I run a line from the rear d ring to the front d ring looped into a brass clip. the line is reverse coil looped into a nylon bag, the end comes out attached to a 6 lb scuba weight belt weight. I dont want to anchor in anything deeper than 8 feet or so like this but it really has increased catch count regardless of hassel. Thats all for me cause i dont get out for more than 2 hours at a time anyway. Be safe above all. you dont want to get hung up and flipped on the river or anywhere else......
