Haven't really had a fish on for a couple of weeks. A cross between not a lot of time and just plain bad fishing.

Bought some polarized glasses yesterday. WOW What a difference.

Saw fish everywhere. Stalked the biggest one I could see on a bed for about a half hour. Threw a smallish chatter to no avail. Switched over to a black spinner and got a couple of follows but no takers. Finally used a Rapala blue gill shad rap. Bingo. It got swallowed. Hadn't had one on in so long the drag was adjusted way loose. and she jumped at the shore. She went right back to the bed. Casted right past a few more times and bammo. Skunk buster.

The Glasses are way cool.

very nice Axe Bass

Good pair of glasses do help see the fish.

Try a shaky head worm on the beds.I had good luck last week with a black and red shaky head worm at "The Axe"

No doubt the glasses give you the edge in any situation. The water clarity adds to that given edge and landing the otherwise inviso bass is a bonus!
