Went out on the Fox River yesterday with my neighbor's uncle and a few of his buddies, and we caught between 5-6 of these things. Most were about a foot long or so, and we didn't know what they were. TIA
they are caled s*** heads on winnebago :lol: , ther actually pretty tasty if you cook them right, and id have enough to feed the chicago area with all the ones i catch on winnebego. its insane. they are fun tho :wink:
Drum can be pretty darn aggressive. I have thought I had the state record smallmouth a few times, only to pull out a big drum on a crankbait or inline spinner.
You should see the ones we catch in the mississippi River 15-20#'s on 3 inch live crawfish. The pic is sved on my phone but for some reason I can post the pic.
