Me and my buddy gave good old Beck about an hour and a half today. I like fishing in the rain personally, and my buddy doesn't hate it, but eventually he had enough. Anyway, I didn't catch anything. I was pretty surprised. I was half-expecting to at least get 1 bass because this lake is always good by this time in April. I was throwing a !/2 ounce rat-l-trap, a booyah spinnerbait, and a texas-rigged gulp worm. At least the water has cleared up quite a bit from last week, even with the rain today. So I predict in the next week I will hopefully pick up a bass from there. I hope I don't jinx myself.

Nice job braving it out there. The fishing would probably have been better if you would have gotten out on sat before the cold front hit.
