Temps 40's wind 10-20(gusty) S/SW, water 43.7 (with wite caps at times)

Not great fishing weather but we gave it a go.

The morning was ok as far as the weather we were able to find some calm spots on the south side of the lake. Fished all kinds of bait. Augy even picked up some shinners but the bass were not in a feeding mood on this day. So we got skunked

The picture says it all ..Cold windy, and the weather just kept getting worse. Aris did a great job driving on the way in when a storm came upon us. The swells were 4-5 feet. we got jack to the boat rental(docks have been removed) and the wind was blowing so hard it blew us right up to the rental spot.

Three guys in a boat was a bit tight but we also had a fun day all in all.

As Augy stated half way through the day ..."Next Time it's to the Busse discharge"....

Very tough day
couldn`t get any boat positioning
marked many fish on dropoffs and in open water
and yes ,it is better than work even though we suffered our first skunk at Deep.
Had a great time regardless ,had a few pizzas and beers,shots of crown royal at Jacks bar with Augy & Mike, thx guys !

That sucks about the skunk I was actually thinking of you guys and wondering if you were getting pounded by the wind like I was. Boat control is a bitch in high winds, makes the day less enjoyable.
