Sorry for the late post. I finally caught a LM at Belleau on a crawler. It was only 8-9" but very healthy (probably from stealing all those crawlers). Also, some lady caught a 36" carp on the south end of the lake. I'm gonna switch to wax worms because crawlers are a little too big the bluegills and small bass and they are very adept at stealing larger worms. I've notices artificial lures don't work too well there because the fish chase them to the shore and give up on them.

How far out did you need to go to get that bass? Belleau seems pretty deep.

It was just off the southwest shore using a spring bobber and nightcrawler. Probably wasn't more than 20-30 feet from shore. I was actually fishing for bluegill by the small patch of grass there.
