The water temperature was 79 degrees this morning. The level has dropped about 6"-8" again from last weekend. The water is very clear however.
We have been getting quite a few reports of some big cats on large roaches. We have gotten alot of reports of smallies on medium roaches as well.

Hey guys thanks for the report. Smallies are hitting roaches already? Wow, that means there's some big fish to be had out that way guys. I'm sure anyone interested in targeting some of these fish can stop in the bait shop and Jason Karen or Tim will point you in the right direction on where to start. They also have guided trips available either with myself or The Fishin Musician(Kevin).

Hopefully I'll get out there before I leave for Cape Cod next weekend.

Personally I'd stop by to see where they were biting that day and get some bait and a decent price. Otherwise I'd give them a call. There is some extremely good fishing right by the shop.
