The water temperature was 76°this morning. The river came up overnight to 1,200 cubic feet per second. (http://waterdata.usgs.gov/il/nwis/uv?dd ... o=05551540 )

Flathead Catfish are very active! One of our regulars came in with a nice one; the approximate weight was 30lbs! Two guys went out this morning; they said they did very well using large fathead minnows. They caught quite a few smallies and a number of cats.

Good Luck!

It really didn't look that bad when I drove by the damn in North Aurora this morning. Up and moving a little more of course because of the rains, but you could still see the steps in the damn as the water came over.
