The water temperature is 76º this morning. The river levels have come up a foot since last Thursday (Aug. 24). The river is receding however. The water is pretty murky with visibilities in the 6-8 inch range.

Medium and large roaches are still the bait of choice. Great fishing reports have been coming in for smallies, flathead and channel cats, and even walleyes! In Batavia, a 26", 5lb. walleye was caught on Tuesday! (Pics are on our website!)

White, black and pumpkin seed are still the hot colors for plastics and spinners.

We are now stocking a "No Roll Sinker"! It is a two sided flat slip sinker that stays where you cast it. Great for heavy current situations!

We will be open on Labor Day, September 4th from 6am-4pm!!

Have a Safe and Happy Holiday Everyone!!
