Fox River Conditions 9/22/2006

The river temperature was 64º this morning. The water level has been holding steady for the last 3 days. It is still moving fairly quickly. Clarity has been improving with visibilities in the 8"-10" range.

Large or X-Large Fatheads are the live bait of choice for most of our anglers. However, Medium Roaches are still producing a number of fish including smallies and walleyes.

White is still the preferred color in artificial lures especially for walleye. Our favorite is the 3" Berkley Power Grub in the Walleye scent. Works well for Bass, too!
