Hey guys, I'm looking to trade my barely used St. Croix Legend Tournament 6'6" MH Fast action rod & Shimano Caenan reel combo. Not a big fan of the bait casters, so this one sits on the rack all the time. Hoping to trade for a high end spinning setup. I'd consider selling too if you want to make an offer.

What's the gear ratio on the Caenan? Pic?

I believe it's a 6.5:1 with a left hand retrieve. I'll double check and take some picks when I get home.

Hoping to turn this one into a nice 7' M or MH Fast rod with split cork grips and a decent Shimano reel. Love St. Croix, but would consider any high end USA made graphite rod...

On a serious note....a professional fisherman I waited on the other night told me..."If you really fish as much as you say you do...start learning how to fish left handed, because your gonna break down. I do feel an ache in my left shoulder.........might wanna trade my Shimano Symmetry 3000, with the Temple fork outfitters medium fast rod. I can't stand spinning gear....I hate everything about it. If anything I said sparks your interest PM me.....I'll send some specs and pics. I'll fish the river with lighter baitcasters....that's how much I hate this gear.

Were you out at the Goons on Wednesday? I saw a guy using almost the same setup. If so I was the guy in the red shirt just down the way from you. How much to sell the setup?

Nope, wasn't at the Goons Wed. It's seen virtually zero water time... probably has 10 casts on it ever. I have no patients for the casters. :evil:

This setup is apprx $340 new. I'd be happy with $250 just to free up the rack space, and to have another nice rig for an upcoming trip.

The reel is a quantum energy pt 20 its adout three yrears old
Not a scratch on it . It has a ceramic drag . Very smooth.

The rod is a st croix 7' premier med power fast action 6-12 lbs. 14- 5/8 oz. All original gides two to choose from
I'll also throw in a st.croix tidemaster 7' lite power mod action
