Haven't been posting on here recently since life got real busy but I managed to get on the big pond with my buddy who works a charter. Relatively slow day but with quality over quantity, I got two 20lb kings and my buddy got the biggest steelie I've ever seen. between the 4 of us on the boat we got 8 fish. Not bad at all for my last trip before packing it up and going to Montana for school. Since then I've been catching trout in the mountains and getting to know the Yellowstone wolves.

I'm studying wildlife biology, I'm hoping to land a wildlife tech job in the next couple years with all the research projects going on at UM. I already got a volunteer position reviewing trail cam footage for a mountain lion study in the grand tetons. As for the fish, I haven't been out much but the highlights have been some good sized cutthroats and an endangered bull trout

Re Yellowstone, suggest you read Track of the Grizzly by the Craighead Brothers. Might be a bit dated but a great read.
