Got a late start and did not get on water till 330 till 830..... thought storms might roll in and they never did. Was with my neighboor Nolan. While we did get a few smallies , but once again nothing huge. The fish of the day were bluegills , not just your avareage Geneva gills these things were absolutly hogs. We concentrated in one area and caught over 10 gills that measured from 8.75 to 9.75 with shoulders bigger than brian urlacher. At dusk tried topwaters with nary a hit that was a bit disappointing. Will post a pic or two when time warrants . Gills were a bit shallower today in 19 feet on half a crawler on a small octopus hook.In fact did not catch a fish over 20 feet today.
