Glow paint

2456 Views 5 Replies 5 Participants Last post by  Augy
I got the big pond kit from glowmates.com and it came with glow paint. I know this glow stuff is usaully used at night and for kings, browns, etc., but they did mention it could be used for smaller waters targeting bass, esox and eyes. Even during midday!!

I've yet to try it and was wondering if any of you guys had any experience with "glow" stuff during the day.

I've not used the specific product you mention. But I have used glow-in-the-dark paints and stickers to augument many lures. I friend of mine ir practically obsessed with "improving" lures of all kinds in all ways. This can certainly be a fun hobby, especially during the winter months.

Let us know how well you do with the fixed up jigs for bass, etc.
I've tried a glow-in-the-dark bass assasin or jerkshad or something before but I didn't have any luck. Never tried glow paint, tell us how it goes.
Is it the dipping stuff? I've heard of dipping curly tail, etc. in florecent paint.
I doubt that it would help for during the day, but I guess that it is worth a try. Let us know how it works out.
i totally forgot about this post. thanks for reminding me. i'll paint up some old lures and give it a go. perhaps deep lake would be a perfect place to field test it.
