Hey guys i'll be going on the desplains river with my cuz on his boat sunday wanted to know if anyone has any adive on fishing the river we will be droping at big bend lake at the spillover i believe
Haven't really fish a river before other than a few times on the NSC by foster any tips on techniques and set-ups would helpfull thanks guys i know i could count on WCF

I hear of northern pike in that area of the DesPlaines River. Work some spinner baits, spoons, and don't be afraid to try some crawlers too.

not a canoe he has a very small flatbottom boat i call it the tinfoil boat bc it looks like it was made out of tinfoil he has a trollingmotor on it i'm not sure on how big it is i have only seen it once but yeah i'll let u know how it goes
is it legal to boat the desplains river?
