I got off work early and decided to hit an old gravel pit that I havent fished since spring w/o results. With the water crystal clear and high skies I knew the odds were against me. I have been jones'n to get out, so I went anyway.
Landed two dinks immediately, totaled about 10 little guys and one 19"er. All fish were caught on a 4" Yum dinger (watermelon flake & grnpumpkin/chart) Hitting weedlines and dropoffs.
Using 10lb powerpro, and good thing I had to horse her outta the weeds. Days like this are when I don't buy the whole line shy stuff.
great scott, that is a dandy bass. yeah, what a way to start off the weekend. hope to get on some of them me self. those yum dingers are starting to out produce senkos.
