Finally after several long weeks of frustration, i DID IT 
!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! First pike i ever caught. WE started off in the back pond area since we saw a guy catch a little pike, but we then decided to keep going to the river. I noticed a small creek from the lake into the river, so i decided that looked like a good spot. I was using a silver spoon, and the second cast i threw, WHAM! And i pulled this sucker in. You should of seen my face it was crazy! Had a little trouble with the treble hook but managed to get it out. Then changed to white spinner and got some hits but no takers also we had a red and white spoon which we almost got another big one on. But in all i was amazed by the fishing today, will be back VERY soon! :mrgreen: wish i could give pictures but i can't upload any thing bigger then 256 kib.. i would say the fish was 24.5 inchesd
