I found this on another site. It involves all of us who live around and enjoy Lake Michigan. Send the message to BP that we will not put up with their plan to increase pollutants dumped into Lake Michigan.

I would change the letter to say you will no longer buy gas from BP until they change their stance.

I have already started my boycott. I used to get gas at the bp on lawrence and sheridan everyday/time I needed to fill. Anyone go to Lollapalooza? If so you like Eddie Vedders' bp song? I found it to be quite entertaining

I will NEVER buy gas from BP again.

Doc, thanks for the information.

I used to be a lifeguard on the shores of Lake Michigan and I remember having to close the beach because of high levels of ecoli. I would hate to see the beaches closed because of high levels of ammonia too. It's hard to turn a little kid away from the beach on a perfect day because the water's polluted.

I'll do everything I can to help out on this issue.

Thanks again for the information.
